Naturopathy Consultations

Initial Consultation – 60 minutes

During your initial consultation, Catie takes the time to understand your health concerns, medical history, current and previous symptoms, as well as your diet and lifestyle. Through a comprehensive 60 minute discussion, a personalised treatment plan will be formulated. Your treatment plan will include herbal and/or nutritional remedies, diet and lifestyle advice, as well as education.

Catie will often use functional testing such as gut and vaginal microbiome testing and comprehensive hormonal panels to treat the root cause of your symptoms. She may also refer you for pathology testing if required.

Followup Consultation – 30 or 45 minutes

During your follow up consultation, Catie will go through any test results with you and will make changes to your treatment plan as required. During the early stages of your health journey you may have a consultation every 4-6 weeks so Catie can support you through your treatment.

  • Yes – you can book in for a free discovery call (10 minutes) to ask any questions about the consultation process and how Catie’s services will benefit you.

  • Upon booking the consultation, you can provide details about your health concerns, medications, diet and more. We also have a list of recommended pathology tests to get before your consulation (this is optional).

  • To get the most out of your consultation, I recommend having the following blood tests done beforehand.

    General Health Tests:

    Vitamin D, B12, Folate, Iron Studies, TSH, FT3, FT4 (Thyroid Panel), Thyroid Antibodies, Lipids, Liver Function, Kidney Function, Fasting Insulin, Full Blood Examination (FBE), Zinc, Copper, C-Reactive Protein (CRP)

    Hormonal Concerns: (if applicable)

    Day 2 or 3 of your menstrual cycle: LH, FSH

    Day 21 of a 28-day cycle or 7 days post-ovulation: Progesterone, Oestradiol

    Any time in your cycle: Testosterone, Androgen Index, SHBG, Prolactin, DHEA, Homocysteine

  • Generally the follow up consultation is 2 - 4 weeks after your initial consultation. This depends on your health concerns and treatment protocol.

  • The initial consultation is $180 and the follow up consultation is $90.
